Nikko Natividad's son suffers seizure, pneumonia amid Japan trip
Nikko Natividad shared an emotional and frightening experience involving his child, revealing that the baby suffered a seizure while they were dining at a restaurant in Japan.
On Instagram, the model and actor recounted how the incident happened suddenly while they were eating.
"Nag-seizure baby namin habang kumakain kami sa [restaurant]. Sobrang taranta namin at sumisigaw na para humingi ng tulong at ambulansya. Mahirap dahil hindi nila kami maintindihan kahit English," he said.
Fortunately, an ambulance was nearby and responded quickly.
"Sobrang panlalambot ko at wala ako iba makita kung 'di ang anak ko lang na nakatirik na at halos two minutes siyang hindi humihinga at nagkulay violet na," he said.
Nikko warned those currently in Japan, especially those with young children, to be extra cautious.
"Mag-ingat po tayo lalo na sa mga may bata at malakas pala ang viral infection ngayon at influenza dito sa Japan," he said.
In a follow-up post, Nikko gave an update on his child's condition, revealing that the baby was later diagnosed with pneumonia.
"Pero buti at hindi pa malala. Be strong bebelove. Kaya palagi kong dasal ang good health at s'yempre 'wag ako mawalan ng trabaho o pagkakakitaan dahil napaka hirap ng walang pampagamot dahil wala naman taong hindi tinatamaan ng sakit," Nikko said.
Nikko is married to Cielo Mae Eusebio. They have two sons.
