Kris Aquino' scheduled medical procedure postponed due to high blood pressure

Kris Aquino took to Instagram Stories to inform her followers that her medical procedure scheduled on Monday has been postponed.

Posting a photo of her IV late Monday, the self-styled Queen of all Media said she was "nervous and having trouble sleeping."

"My procedure was re-sked because my BP last night was too high," Kris said.

Saying her "heart is overwhelmed," the celebrity prayed for peace.

Over the weekend, a fan page reported that Kris was to undergo a minor operation on Monday. 

Last week, she told her fans that "I’m alive because of your prayers" as she asked for continued prayers "for unwavering faith that the new year can only get better."

“Lilipas ito at makakabawi ako sa kabutihang loob ninyo,” Kris added. “My body is at its weakest but my spirit is still #fighting.”

As of April 2025, Kris was battling nine autoimmune diseases. — LA, GMA Integrated News
