Stroke survivor receives medical treatment with help from GMA Kapuso Foundation

A stroke survivor has been receiving medical treatment with help from the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

According to "24 Oras" Friday, Eric Constantino collapsed in their bathroom after suffering a stroke back in May 2025. He was rushed to the hospital, where he spent several days in the intensive care unit (ICU).

"Medyo malaki' yung bleed sa brain ni Eric, so with rehab nag-undergo siya ng physical therapy and continuous medications," said Dr. Marinica Ciara Palma, a physician at the Laguna Provincial Hospital, also known as the San Pablo District Hospital.

The GMA Kapuso Foundation visited Eric recently to check up on his condition months after his stroke.

Per the report, Eric has undergone lifestyle changes, including reducing his consumption of salty food and prioritizing more nutritious meals.

He also continues to undergo physical therapy to help regain his strength and mobility.

"Nakikita ko 'pag nga po siya naglalakad, ako ay natutuwa at sabi ko talaga ang laki na ng improvement. Talagang may pag-asa 'pag po talaga sa Lord nagtiwala," said his daughter, Gemarie.

For those who wish to support GMA Kapuso Foundation's projects, donations may be made via Metrobank, Land Bank, BDO, Bank of Commerce, UnionBank, PNB, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Lazada, and Shopee. Visit the GMA Kapuso Foundation website for more information.
