Aira Bermudez assures fans she's OK after accident in SexBomb Girls' reunion concert

All is well with Aira Bermudez after she had an accident during the SexBomb Girls' reunion concert Round 4 on Saturday.

Through a statement shown on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" on Monday, the dancer said she did not have a fracture and her X-ray result is clear after she fell when one of her dancers failed to catch her on stage.

"Alam ko marami ang nagulat nung humampas 'yung mukha ko sa stage," she said.

"It was an accident, and I want to clarify na hindi sinasadya ng dancer ko na mabitawan ako. Sila ang pamilya ko, kasama ko na sila since 11 years old pa lang ako, so please, don't be hard on them."

The accident happened during her performance of "Alarma," which she still finished.

"Actually, 'yung energy ng crowd talaga ang nagpush sa akin na tapusin 'yung 'Alarma' performance. Sa totoo lang, dahil sa hiyawan n'yo, mas naging palaban ako!" she said.

She thanked everyone who worried and prayed for her.

"Getting better every day na ako, and I'm ready to bounce back," she said.

The SexBomb Girls announced a Round 6 for their Get Get Aw! reunion concert. They will also hold a world tour.

The iconic group rose to fame through their daily appearances on a noontime TV variety show. Later, they starred in the afternoon soap, "Daisy Siete," and became top recording artists. —MGP, GMA Integrated News
