100 individuals to receive free dentures under GMA Kapuso Foundation's 'Ngiting Kapuso Project'

One hundred individuals are set to receive free dentures under the GMA Kapuso Foundation's "Ngiting Kapuso Project."

According to Mel Tiangco's report on "24 Oras" on Wednesday, one of the beneficiaries is Rosalinda Tagle, a mother of eight whose dentures were swept away when Typhoon Ondoy hit in 2009.

She has since been unable to afford replacements because she prioritized her children's needs.

Niloloko po nila akong bungal," Rosalinda said.

So on her upcoming birthday, she wishes for her smile and self-confidence to return.

Like Rosalinda, Angelica Pedeza is also in need of dental care. She cannot apply for a job because of her teeth problems.

Rosalinda and Angelica, along with the other beneficiaries, underwent screening and dental check-ups under the "Ngiting Kapuso Project at the Centro Escolar University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Joann Fontanilla Joven, Head of Community Dentistry of CEU School of Dentistry said their goal is to help patients regain their self-confidence, especially those who have lost the ability to smile comfortably due to dental problems.

For those who wish to support GMA Kapuso Foundation's projects, donations may be made via Metrobank, Land Bank, BDO, Bank of Commerce, UnionBank, PNB, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Lazada, and Shopee.
