Jasmine Curtis-Smith says she has never had plastic surgery

Jasmine Curtis-Smith has denied undergoing facial plastic surgery.

In Nelson Canlas’ "24 Oras" earlier this week, the actress clarified she has never had surgery, especially around her eyes.

"I have nothing against it, but I've never done it. I've never done plastic surgery, especially around my eyes. Guys, oh my God. Okay? I love my eyes. Actually, if anything, 'yan yata 'yung paborito kong feature sa mukha ko. So hindi ko 'yan gagalawin," Jasmine said.

She added that if she ever decides to undergo any procedures in the future, she would not hide it.

"If ever man may ipagalaw naman ako, I won't lie about it if I ever get asked. Because it's the modern day na. People are getting it done. It's just not for me. It's just not something I do, you know. For now at least. Namaga lang talaga ‘yung mata ko from crying,” she said.

In the same interview, Jasmine admitted she is still grieving her father, James, who died in January.

"Siyempre hiwalay pa rin kami [Anne Curtis] ng tinitirhan, inuuwian. So kapag kailangan namin 'yung isa't-isa medyo may struggle din to reach other, kasi magkaiba kami ng oras sa trabaho," Jasmine said.

"I miss my family. I miss being with my mom. I think mahirap lang na hindi mo sila kasama lalo na kapag pagod ka. Kapag kailangan mo lang ng taong makikinig sayo, mahirap na hindi mo sila kasama," she added, getting teary-eyed.

On social media, the celebrity sisters each paid a moving tribute to James on the occasion of his birth anniversary with Jasmine saying "I miss you in the quiet moments." Anne meanwhile imagined a celebration in heaven and said I hope they let him have a glass of wine."

Jasmine is set to star in the stage play "Endo" alongside Royce Cabrera and is also one of the celebrity dance performers in "Stars on the Floor" Season 2. — Carby Rose Basina/LA, GMA Integrated News
