Nic Chien to those saying members of LGBT+ community are going to hell: 'Screw you'

Nic Chien gave a terrific interview on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Friday, sharing how he came out to his mom, how he came upon his identity, how he learned about his parents' separation, and what he'd say to the person in front of the magic mirror.

And when asked by Tito Boy what he'd say to those saying members of the LGBT+ community are going to hell, Nic had quite the reaction.

"Screw you," he began, before issuing a most important clarification about choice: "whoever thinks being queer or gay or trans is a choice — no it's not a choice."

"If I had a choice to only choose women, I would choose that choice," he added.

Saying he didn't mean to be religious, Nic leaned on the divine and said, "God made us this way."

"If there was an easier way out, we would have chosen that a long time ago pero hindi. Kasi this is what we really are," Nic said.

In April 2025, Lea and Nic revealed their "emotional" journey of self discovering and parenting on People magazine. 

According to the article, Nic "figured out" he was trans masculine at 14, incidentally the age when he found out about his parents' separation.

He started taking testosterone in January 2025, and had top surgery in September.
