Strava now supports Tagalog, 9 other languages
Fitness app Strava announced that it now supports 10 additional languages on its platform, including Tagalog.
Aside from Tagalog, the other languages are Czech, Danish, Malay, Norwegian Bokmal, Polish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese.
According to Strava, the development is part of the company's bid to provide a more localized experience for users, as well as help them build connections in local communities.
Free Strava users can access localized features on the platform, such as tracking more than 50 activity types.
Meanwhile, subscribers can enjoy tailored workout recommendations, training insights, challenges, and route planning tools.
“With the addition of these new languages, Strava is more international than ever before, enabling users to unlock the full Strava experience in their native language,” said Strava Chief Marketing Officer Louisa Wee in a news release.
“The expansion is a key part of our broader global growth strategy, which includes regional partnerships, localized content libraries, and market-specific challenges and programs launching later this year.”
Strava is a fitness app that allows users to record their activities, workouts, and sports, and connect with like-minded people. It has more than 195 million users across over 185 countries. —CDC, GMA News
