A pet wellness walk is happening in Pasig on May 3; here's how to join
Looking for a way to spend quality time outdoors with your pet?
The Pet Wellness Walk 2026, an event that promotes responsible and safe pet ownership, is set to take place on May 3 at Bridgetowne Central Park in Pasig City.
Organized by Pet Lovers Centre, the event features a 1.5-kilometer walk designed for pet owners and their companions.
Participants are expected to assemble at 4:30 a.m., with the walk officially starting at 5:00 a.m.
Registration costs P750 and is open until April 30 at select locations, including Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Magnolia, Robinsons Antipolo, Ayala Malls Feliz, and Power Plant Mall.
Registered participants will receive a kit that includes a singlet, finisher medal, race bib, pet bandana, and pet treat.
The event was first held in 2024 in Antipolo City, where pet owners and their companions gathered for a day promoting responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.
Open to pets of all shapes and sizes, it also featured activities such as a zumba session, veterinary consultations, a cooking demo, as well as service booths for anti-rabies vaccination, express grooming, and free check-ups for pet owners. —Carby Rose Basina/JCB, GMA News
