At 61, AiAi Delas Alas successfully finishes Hyrox Hong Kong
AiAi Delas Alas is proof that age is just a number!
On Instagram, the comedienne proudly shared that she is now a Hyrox Hong Kong finisher at 61 years old. She participated in the Doubles Women division with Joy Santeco-de Guzman as her partner.
“I thought I’d be slowing down… but here I am signing up for HYROX and loving every painful minute of it,” AiAi wrote.
“So grateful to God for the strength, the courage, and the opportunity to push beyond what I thought I could do,” she added.
Just in time for Mother’s Day, AiAi also shared an inspiring message for women to never lose hope.
“Sa lahat ng mga babae lalo na ang mga nanay, ‘wag mawalan ng pag-asa, let’s go,” she said.
In the comment section, several Kapuso celebrities cheered on AiAi, including Dingdong Dantes, Julie Ann San Jose, David Licauco, and Carla Abellana, to name a few.
Hyrox is a global indoor fitness race that combines running and functional workout stations. To complete the entire routine, participants run one kilometer, then complete one functional workout station, repeating the cycle eight times.
In March, David debuted in Hyrox Taipei and set the fastest time among Filipino participants in his age group.
