Sparkle Run: guidelines, details, and list of artists for the fun run on May 30

Sparkle Run is launching its first-ever fun run on May 30!

In partnership with the City of Manila and Rio Philippines, the fun run will start at the Quirino Grandstand and with a route that will pass through several historical and iconic landmarks across Manila.

For those who are participating in the Sparkle Run, here are the guidelines and details for the event on Saturday.

Prices

If you still haven’t signed up for the fun run, fret not! The registration is still open.

Participants can choose from various distances:

• 3 km (P1,000)
• 6.6 km (P1,200)
• 10 km (P1,400)
• 16 km (P1,800).

Sparkle Run also offers a special 5 km group package for four, priced at P4,320.

Prices for all categories include a singlet, bib, finisher’s medal, and loot bag. Those participating in the 16K category will also receive a shirt.

Routes and Gun start

Each distance category has different route maps and gun start schedules. Below is a list, organized according to distances.

• 3 km - 5:30 a.m.
• 5 km - 5:00 a.m.
• 6.6 km - 4:30 a.m.
• 10 km - 4:00 a.m.
• 16 km - 3:00 a.m.

The route for all distances will start at the Quirino Grandstand and will traverse key places in Manila such as the Roxas Boulevard, Rizal Park, Intramuros, Jones Bridge, and Binondo.
