David Licauco ranks no. 1 among Filipino participants in Hyrox Jakarta

David Licauco has done it again!

The Pambansang Ginoo set a new personal record at Hyrox Jakarta 2026, clocking 1:07:38, which was the fastest time recorded by a Filipino participant across all age groups.

He also ranked ninth in the men's 30 to 34 age group and 28th overall in the men's open division.

On Instagram, David shared photos from the competition, including snaps of himself looking laser-focused throughout the event.

"Whole lot of support," he wrote. "Coming back stronger."

In March, David debuted at Hyrox Taipei and recorded the fastest time by a Filipino participant in the Open Division in Asia. He also ranked No. 1 among all Filipino participants in the Taipei leg.

Earlier, he shared that he trained for a month and a half in preparation for the competition.

Hyrox is a global indoor fitness race that combines running and functional workout stations. To complete the entire routine, participants run one kilometer, then complete one functional workout station, repeating the cycle eight times.
