BB Gandanghari reveals going home to PH due to health concerns

BB Gandanghari is finally home in the Philippines after being based in the United States for years.

On “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Tuesday, the former actress said she has been in the country for more than two months already, and that she returned due to a health condition.

“Sa America, I was diagnosed with a cardiovascular condition, nakakita ng blockage sa puso ko,” BB said.

“I was very emotional in the States. I was supposed to have angiogram there, go through the whole process,” she added. “But I wasn’t sure kasi sabi ko I don’t know if I’m too young for that kasi they wanted to distend on my heart already.”

BB thus decided to head back to the Philippines to get a second opinion. She added that she already had her procedure for the second opinion last week.

“Of course, during that whole process, I changed my lifestyle, I changed my diet,” she said. “Also, that’s the reason why I went to Iloilo, just to have that clear air, just to really magpahinga.”

According to BB, the blockage that was discovered while she was in the US had diminished.

BB also said that she remains active, which was a fear when she was first diagnosed.

“Parang hindi ko kaya ‘yung biglang hindi ka na pwede maging active,” she said.
