Eat your feelings. Well-known and super loved for its delicious buffet, Peninsula Manila’s Escolta will hold a special Valentine’s Day dinner buffet that works perfectly with Catholics. Why? Catch a cool concert on post-Valentines Day weekend. That’s quite a stellar lineup of indie darlings Bonifacio Global City has assembled for Saturday post-Valentines Day weekend. We mean: Ebe Dancel, Bullet Dumas, Clara Benin, Johnoy Danao, and Reese Lansangan, with the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra Quartet! Collect receipts up to P2,000 to get tickets. 7pm, February 17. On Valentine’s Day, the country’s “most romantic mall” is celebrating love with acrobatics, venetian mimes, love locks, gondola rides, roving musicians, string quartet, fireworks displa, art sketches, and more. At the mall’s river — yes, where gondola rides take place – the “Aqua y Carnevale” will take place. It’s 30-minute show that tells the story of, well, two young lovers. It may not be the real deal but tell your sweetheart, this valentine’s is only the beginning.
