Pinoy rock veterans Razorback on Sunday evening announced it has parted ways with its vocalist Kevin Roy.

Other than saying “it was circumstances beyond our control,” the band, beloved for hits like “Giyang,” “Pepe D' Hepe,” and "Payaso" did not explain the split further.

In its statement, Razorback said it will continue to “give you Boars the rakenrol you deserve.”

Kevin Roy is actually the band’s second vocalist, replacing Jose Mari Cuervo a few years into the band's career. With Roy, Razorback produced nine albums.

Without Roy, Razorback members now include Tirso Ripoll, Louie Talan, Bryan Velasco and Manuel Legarda, previously of Wolfgang. — LA, GMA News
