'Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral' is coming to Netflix in January 2019

Netflix just announced "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral" will become available for Filipino viewers starting January 25, 2019.

"Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral", translated to "Goyo: The Boy General" for its international streaming debut, is directed by Jerrold Tarog and stars Paulo Avelino as the well-known Filipino hero.

Released in September 2018 in Philippine cinemas, "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral" depicts the ladies' man Gregorio "Goyo" del Pilar as he rises to become one of the Philippines' youngest generals.

"Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral" is the second film already in Tarog's trilogy on the Philippine revolution featuring epic heroes. The first film, "Heneral Luna" can already be viewed on Netflix. — Kaela Malig/LA, GMA News
