Penn Badgley, Shay Mitchell headed to Manila for 'YOU'

"Gossip Girl" star Penn Badgley and "Pretty Little Liars" star Shay Mitchell are coming to Manila to meet the fans of the newest Netflix Original Series, "YOU."

"You" is based on a book of the same name by Caroline Kepnes. It follows the story of a "nice guy" Joe Goldberg (Penn) as he falls in love with writer Beck (Elizabeth Lai).

Joe ends up stalking Beck, both on social media and in real life. He observes her daily life from afar, which made his feelings quickly switch up from an awkward crush to obsession.

On their first day (January 14) here, Penn and Shay will have an event with the media.

The stars will have a special fan event on January 15, Tuesday, at a pop-up "Mooney's" shop,  5:30 p.m. at The Greenbelt Gallery, 2nd level, Greenbelt 5. 

Filipino-Canadian star Shay plays as Peach Salinger, Beck's best friend. Her close relationship with Beck makes her a target for the obsessive Joe.  — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas / AT, GMA News
