Jennylyn Mercado has a reminder to all pet parents: ‘Hindi mo sila kinuha para hindi alagaan’

Being a human to animals is quite an attractive thought: apart from the companionship, pets are very sweet and they don’t complain.

“Pag-uuwi ako, sasalubong talaga. Tatabi sayo, hihiga sa tabi mo,” Jennylyn Mercado shares in a 24 Oras by Cata Tibayan.

She has four cats under her care: There’s Clay, the Scottish Fold always ready for the camera; Amy, the Scottish Straight whom you can easily pinpoint thanks to the signature ribbon around her neck. Sage the Siberian is the sweet white furball, while Chael is the maincoon with a standout pair of ears.

But pets come with responsibility. “Hindi mo sila kinuha para hindi alaggaan,” Jennylyn Mercado reminds.

“Make sure may oras kayo para sa kanila, nafi-feed mo sila nang tama. Walang stress and nagu-groom nang maayos.”
