Heart and Chiz among 7,127 Sorsoganons who set Guinness World Record for largest Filipino folk dance
Heart Evangelista and Governor Chiz Escudero were among the 7,127 Sorsoganons who set the Guinness World Record for the largest FIlipino folk dance.
The Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations announced the news on her Instagram account on Saturday.
"We did it! Congratulations to us 7,127 Sorsoganons for breaking the Guinness World Record for largest Filipino folk dance!" Heart wrote on Instagram.
Heart, Chiz and the rest of Sorsogon City danced the Pantomina sa Tinampo, a traditional courtship dance.
In another post, Heart said she is proud of her husband for planning and conceptualizing the whole thing for the province.
"It was also a success with the support and cooperation of the men and women of Sorsogon from 14 municipalities and 1 city," she said.
Heart said the world record "was just a bonus. The true prize is knowing that we can all stand together united as one!"
She said this is just the beginning expressing her excitement for what's ahead for Sorsogon.
"There are no words to explain how my heart felt seeing all the 7,127 united Sorsoganons giving it our all. Yesterday, we all stood together united for a great purpose. What an honor it was to be a part of this special moment. Congratulations to all of us!!"
