The 'Wonder Woman 1984' trailer is a cool trip to the imagined future of the '80s and more

On Monday morning, the trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 was revealed, and believe us when we say: It's all sorts of cool.

The imagined future of the '80s — neon! huge malls! digital watches! — takes center stage, almost reminding us of the recently concluded "Stranger Things 3."

The campy vibe is then married, ever-so-beautifully if we may, with the promised high-octance action of the series and softened with Gal Gadot's elegance.

Wonder Woman 1984 will hit theaters in 2020.
