Green Day moves Manila show to 2021 amid COVID-19 pandemic
Punk rock band Green Day announced on Thursday that they will be moving their first ever Manila concert to 2021, amid the ongoing spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

"Our upcoming dates have been rescheduled to 2021," the American band said in a tweet.
Initially scheduled on March 14, 2020, the band's concert in Manila has been moved to March 13, 2021.
According to concert organizer MMI Live on their Facebook post, current tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date. For those who are no longer available to attend the new date, they can request for a full refund.
"We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding," it wrote.
Known for their hit albums "Dookie" and "American Idiot," Green Day was set to visit Manila as part of their "Hella Mega Tour."
