Family recreates 'Crash Landing on You' scenes for parents' 25th anniversary

Who said the "Crash Landing on You" fever is over?

For their parents' 25th anniversary, this adorable family recreated scenes from the hit Korean drama series and it has the internet cackling!

In Edflyn Sulit's Facebook post on Tuesday, her parents can be seen reenacting the iconic moment the star-crossed lovers from two different Koreas met, from crashing into Captain Ri's arms to running through the forest to catch Se-ri.

However, their parents weren't the only one who went all out with their outfits as their mom wore a paragliding attire and their father wore a soldier's uniform.

All four of their children, Edflyn, Swift, Kent and Lyndon, also posed as Captain Ri's troop with matching soldier uniforms.

According to Edflyn, the entire family was able to binge-watch CLOY during the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Soon, she shared, everyone was a fan.

Edflyn shared that her parents had a lot of similarities with Captain Ri and Se-ri's love story, although not as extreme, but just as memorable.

Her father, she shared, was from the Northern part of the country, while her mother was from the South, just like Captain Ri and Se-ri.

"My dad, Edwin, was technically working in the Northern part of the Philippines as a doctor in Mindoro, while my mom is a nurse from Mindanao, the Southern part of the Philippines," Edflyn narrated.

She added, "They met in Manila, and my dad shared that his first sight of her was while she was coming down the stairs; so to speak, she 'descended'."

Nothing has been the same since. Edflyn also added that just like Captain Ri, her father is a man of few words while her mother, like Se-ri, was headstrong and had a way of negotiating and persuading people.

A unique love story between individuals from North and South Korea, "Crash Landing on You" made history by becoming South Korean TV channel TVN's highest-rated show ever.
