Gary Valenciano performs songs of faith this Holy Week amid COVID-19 crisis

Gary Valenciano went live on Facebook on Maundy Thursday to perform songs of faith as the country battles the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The concert was part of Bayanihan Musikahan, the initiative started by composer Ryan Cayabyab to raise funds to help vulnerable sectors during the community quarantine.

Gary V collected over P1.3 million after singing songs such as "Lead Me Lord," "No Mount Too High," and "Could You Be Messiah."

"There is no place that is too far, no place that is too deep, no place that is too dark and no mountain that is too high for God to reach you," he said. "There's no limit to what he can do."

Last week, Lea Salonga raised P1.8 million for COVID-19 frontliners during her turn in the concert series.

Other artists who participated in the project include Ebe Dancel, Sitti, Chito Miranda, Martin Nievera, and Bullet Dumas, among others. --MGP, GMA News
