Ben&Ben officially drops the new song titled "Lifetime" on Thursday. By now, you must've heard about how the title was inspired by a netizen's untold love for best friend, and how band got to work with international music engineer Leon Zervos.

But "Lifetime" holds a few more curiosities, like the sound of rain at the very beginning.

The band's percussionist Toni Munoz said that was the sound of actual rain. The band was recording their own parts in their respective homes, which proved to be a challenge.

As Toni was trying to record, rain suddenly poured. "Biglang umulan nang malakas, as in sobrang lakas. Tapos ang tagal-tagal ko ng nagse-setup," Toni narrated.

According to Toni, she decided to go ahead the recording, and promising to try again as soon as the rain stops.

But Miguel said, they decided to just record the rain, giving "Lifetime" quite the ambient intro.

You can listen to the song on Spotify, YouTube Music, YouTube, Apple Music, and iTunes Store.
