'Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita' to be streamed for free on June 15

In celebration of Pride Month 2020, the UP Center for Women's and Gender Studies (UPCWGS) will be streaming "Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita" for free on June 15.

The award-winning film starring Angel Aquino and Therese Malvar tells a powerful story about a 12-year-old girl who develops a deep connection with a grown woman in provincial Bulacan.

Following the screening, netizens can take part in several online events, including a Q&A session with "Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita" director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo.

There will also be a live-reading of LGBTQ+-themed children’s books, a forum on SOGIESC-Affirmative Media Reporting, and a "chikahan" session with director Samantha Lee and photographer BJ Pascual.
