'Wonder Woman' sequel release delayed to October 2020
The theatrical release of "Wonder Woman 1984" has been pushed back yet again.
On Facebook, Gal Gadot announced that the highly anticipated sequel is slated to hit the big screen on October 2, 2020.
The actress only has excitement over the new release date.
"Wow, it's finally happening, and I couldn’t be more excited! To all the fans that stuck with us through this time, thank you so much! We couldn't have done this without you. I'm so excited for you to get to see this WW84, it will be worth the wait," she said.
In the sequel of the record breaking "Wonder Woman," Gadot reprises her role as Diana as she faces two new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah.
"Wonder Woman 1984" was originally scheduled to be released in theaters in June 2020. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the premiere was delayed to August, and now to October.
