Netflix releases mesmerizing trailer for 'Cursed,' a reimagining of Arthurian legend


"What if the sword chooses a queen?"

This is how Netflix's upcoming show "Cursed" is reimagining the tale of King Arthur.

The show just dropped its official trailer, and we see the show's amazing lineup of characters in high-definition action for the first time.

Katherline Langford looks fierce as a medieval enchantress who emerges from the water and wields the "sword of power."

The "13 Reasons Why" actress plays Nimue, the young heroine destined to become the powerful being known as "The Lady of the Lake."

We also see Devon Terrell as her companion Arthur, Gustaf Skarsgård as the sorcerer Merlin, Daniel Sharman as mysterious "Weeping Monk," and Peter Mullan as the Red Paladin leader Father Carden.

"Cursed" is set to premiere on Netflix this year.
