'The Lion King,' 'Les Misérables,' 'School of Rock' and other West End musicals to stream online


As the coronavirus pandemic continues to threaten the world, London's West End is going online.

This means that its musicals will be available for streaming — starting today, June 20.

On its Facebook, the virtual West End Live will stream past videos of musicals such as "The Lion King," "Mamma Mia!," "Les Misérables," "The Phantom of the Opera," "School of Rock," and "Wicked."

The rest of the lineup include "& Juliet," "The Barricade Boys," "Bat Out of Hell," "Come From Away,"  "Everybody's Talking About Jamie," "Heathers," "Jersey Boys," "Kinky Boots," "Matilda," "Memphis," "Only Fools and Horses," "Six," "Strictly Ballroom," "Sunny Afternoon," "Tina," and "Waitress."

COVID-19 has forced theaters around the world to shut down.

Aside from the virtual West End Live, you can also get your musical fix at The Shows Must Go On YouTube channel.
