Pampanga is getting a drive-in cinema this July!

It looks like drive-in cinemas are going to be a thing again as the country adjusts to the new normal.

The first drive-in cinema in the Philippines, called "Movies at Sundown," is launching in Pampanga this July 31 at the SM Amphitheater.

According to SM Pampanga, the revived movie experience will happen every Friday to Sunday at 5:30 p.m. and 8:20 p.m.

Guests will have to pay P400 for the movie bundle, which includes regular popcorn, bottled water, and beef franks.

A maximum of four persons are allowed per vehicle.

The drive-in cinema was launched amid the coronavirus pandemic that continues to spread around the world, prompting governments to impose social distancing as a safety measure.
