Taylor Swift’s ‘Cardigan’ music video reaches 15 million views in just a day

Taylor Swift broke the internet yet again after dropping her surprise album “Folklore” and the music video for the single “Cardigan.” 

In just a day, the American award-winning singer’s ethereal “Cardigan” music video reached over 15 million views despite the short notice.

The music video’s visuals, which show an enchanting forest, a stormy sea, and the warmth of a cardigan, appear to revolve around the lyrics, “I knew you tried to change the ending, Peter losing Wendy.”

Apart from her new music video, Taylor’s official lyric videos for her new album’s 16 songs received almost one million views each.

Her official lyric video for her song with Bon Iver called “Exile” received over four million views in just a day.

Taylor’s “Cardigan” is the number one trending video on Youtube, while “Exile” is in second place as of writing.

In her announcement, the singer said “Folklore,” her 8th studio album, wasn’t planned, but she poured all her “whims, dreams, fears and musings” into it. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
