Here's how Son Ye Jin handled that fierce motorcycle scene from her telco ad

Son Ye Jin joins her "Crashing Landing On You" co-star Hyun Bin as the newest endorser of Smart Communications Inc.

In the commercial, Son Ye Jin was a total bad-ass riding a Ducati like it was nothing. 

During the Q&A portion of the launch on Monday, Smart SVP head  Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart Jane Basas said riding the Ducati bike was actually Son Ye Jin's favorite part of the shoot.

"If there's one thing she liked about this campaign, it was that she got to ride a Ducati bike," Basas revealed.

"We knew that she loved the campaign because  the character she portrayed is a very strong woman, a badass chic right? And it's very, very different from her prior endorsements and we knew how much she loved it," she added.

At the latter part of the commercial, a sports car arrives behind her, before both of them sped off the road. We're presuming the sports car is Hyun Bin; remember how the South Korean actor rode a handsome sports car in his ad for the telco?

The Smart team decided to get Son Ye Jin after the warm reception of Hyun Bin's ad last May.

President and CEO, Smart Communications Inc. Chief of Revenue Officer, PLDT Group Alfredo S. Panlilio shared how warm and welcoming Son Ye Jin was on the Zoom call, while she was at the shoot.

"She was very, very warm when she got to the camera. In fact, she was very welcoming of us as if she wasn't shooting, it was in the middle of the shoot she took the time and she was very very warm.

Panlilo also said that Son Ye Jin has been  dying to come to Manila to meet her fans.

“Crash Landing on You,” features Hyun Bin as Captain Ri Jung Hyuk, a North Korean officer who falls in love with South Korean heiress Yoon Se-ri, played by Son Ye jin. It aired from December 2019 to February 2020 and is one of the highest-rating Korean dramas in history. — LA, GMA News
