Red Velvet’s Irene and Seulgi to perform at TIME Magazine event
Red Velvet’s Irene and Seulgi are set to perform at a TIME Magazine live event!
The two South Korean singers will have a special performance at TIME100 Talks, a live event series that brings together leaders from different fields to shed light on solutions to global problems.
The TIME100 talks will take place Aug. 18, 5 p.m. (Philippine time).
The event will feature United Nations Secretary General António Guterres, actor and UNDP goodwill ambassador Michelle Yeoh, Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, and African Leadership Group CEO and founder Fred Swaniker.
Irene and Seulgi aren’t the first K-Pop stars to perform at TIME100 Talks. In June, boy band MONSTA X also took part in the live series.
Red Velvet, a girl group composed of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri, are known for their hit songs “Psycho” and “Red Flavor.”
Last month, Irene and Seulgi debuted as a sub-unit and released their mini album “Monster.”
