Cinemalaya film 'Heneral Rizal' now available for free on YouTube

"Heneral Rizal" is now available for free streaming on YouTube just in time for the country's celebration of National Heroes Day on August 31.

The 22-minute film, which was screened on Cinemalaya this year, features Dr. Jose Rizal's older brother Paciano.

Veteran actor Nanding Josef plays the titular character, who delivers an impassioned monologue about his "hopes and dreams for the country."

The film is written by Dr. Floro Quibuyen and directed by Chuck Gutierrez.
