Mong Alcaraz of Sandwich and Chicosci performs BTS hit ’Dynamite’ for daughter’s online show-and-tell

A little girl was able to make cute but electrifying puppet performance for show-and-tell, thanks to her awesome rockstar dad.

Mong Alcaraz, who has played guitar for Sandwich and Chicosci, shared his adorable song cover of BTS’s “Dynamite” on Instagram.

The guitarist had some help from a dog named J-Fluff, which was really his seven-year-old daughter Mira holding a puppet over his shoulder.

It's began with a short exchange between Mong and Mira, aka J-Fluff.

"Are you ready, J-Fluff?" Mong begins. "A little louder, J-Fluff," he egged the puppet when it responded meekly the first time.

What ensued thereafter was an adorable family performance, with Mong playing the guitar and doing backup vocals, Mira being an excellent puppeteer and vocalist, and mom Mel filming the whole thing and providing backup vocals, too.

Posting the same video on Instagram, the producer mom said it was "show and tell at school today!"

"Borahae," she added.

Speaking to GMA News Online, Mong said, "What else is there to do in the pandemic? Dad on!"

At a time when all we hear about distance learning are stories on stress and panic, seeing this video of Mong and Mira enjoying themselves as they perform for a class is certainly refreshing. Hope this makes your Wednesday the way it did ours! — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
