‘Attack on Titan: The Final Season’ reveals premiere date, new visual

The fourth and final season of “Attack on Titan” will premiere on Dec. 7.

Anime streaming giant Crunchyroll confirmed the news on Twitter along with a new visual from the series.

According to the report on Crunchyroll’s website, the official Twitter account for “Attack on Titan” announced Thursday that it would start broadcasting the final season on Japan’s NHK-G on Dec. 7.

“Attack on Titan,” or “Shingeki no Kyojin,” released the trailer for the final season in May after keeping most of its development under wraps.

It featured terrifying new Titans, as well as the return of the Beast Titan and Reiner Braun.

More importantly, it teased shocking new character designs for Eren Jaeger and his friends, who seem to have grown up as they head onto one epic and bloody battle.

To recall, Season 3 ended with the gang discovering the truth about the Titans, and finally seeing what lies beyond the wall.

“Attack on Titan” is an anime series based on the manga of the same name by Hajime Isayama.

Season 4 will wrap up the series, seven years after it premiered. – Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/RC, GMA News
