'The Haunting of Bly Manor' reveals episode titles with eerie posters

If you've seen the masterpiece that is "The Haunting of Hill House," you're probably awaiting the premiere of its follow-up "The Haunting of Bly Manor."

And to excite you even more, "The Haunting of Bly Manor" just revealed the titles for each episode along with eerie posters.

While all nine episodes revealed photos, its 8th episode didn't give away the title and it only had a photo of a treasure chest with only blank spaces for letters to leave clues on what it might be.

"The Haunting of Bly Manor" is set in 1980s England. After an au pair's tragic death, Henry Wingrave (Henry Thomas) hires a young American nanny (Victoria Pedretti) to look after his orphaned niece and nephew ( Amelie Bea Smith, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth)living at Bly Manor with their home chef Owen Rahul Kohli), groundskeeper Jamie (Amelia Eve) and housekeeper, Mrs. Grose (T’Nia Miller).

In a previous behind the scenes featurette, its creator Mike Flanagan and executive Trevor Macy explained how this new chapter is going to be different from "Hill House."

Despite the new show having actors from the previous chapter, "Bly Manor" will have them playing "very different roles."

Among the returning cast include Victoria Pedretti and Oliver Jackson-Cohen who played as the siblings Nellie and Luke in "Hill House."

Mike said while "Hill House" focused on family and their issues, "Bly Manor" is about strangers and romance.

"All of the people who inhabit Bly Manor come from completely different backgrounds and get to know each other through friendship, tension, conflict and love," Flanagan explained.

More than it being a horror series, "Bly Manor" at the heart is a "love story," Mike said.

"When you look at the word romance, it conjures up images in your mind, gothic romance means something very very different... mystery and doom, incredibly passionate emotions that swung into the darkness of human nature," Flanagan explained.

Mike said he hopes that the audience would see "Bly Manor's" "wonderful connection between a great love story and a great ghost story."

"The two are really the same thing, how each of us when we fall in love, is kind of giving birth to a new ghost, something that's gonna follow us for the rest of our lives," Mike explained.

"I hope that the intermingling of a ghost story and a love story is really impactful for people, and I think by the end of the season the line between the two is pretty much obliterated entirely," he added.
