Ruru Madrid's dance cover of 'Dynamite' receives stamp of approval from BTS

Ruru Madrid's dance cover of "Dynamite" has received a stamp of approval from BTS!

The K-pop group "liked" his video on TikTok, which now has over 4.4 million views.

This was not the first time that BTS noticed their Kapuso fanboy. In July, V himself commented on the photo of Ruru uploaded in Big Hit Entertainment's fan community platform after ARMYs saw their similar OOTDs.

"Para ma-compare ka sa mga ganun kasikat at ganun kahuhusay po na performers, sobrang nakakatuwa, nakakataba po ng puso," Ruru said in Aubrey Carampel's report for "24 Oras."

"Pero syempre ako naman po ay isang fan din na masasabi ko na humahanga lang rin po ako sa kanila," he added.

Aside from a dance cover, Ruru also did a sweet acoustic cover of "Dynamite." He previously covered V's song "Sweet Night."

Ruru revealed that his best friend Mikee Quintos was responsible for introducing him to BTS.

Now a certified ARMY himself, he has also influenced other people close to him to become fans of BTS, such as Bianca Umali.

"Nakita ko 'yung wallpaper niya sa Ipad niya, picture ng BTS e," he said. —MGP, GMA News
