For aspiring plantitas who don't have a green thumb, the Bromeliad might be what you need
Do you want to be a plantita but you're not blessed with a green thumb? Do you want plants, but you keep forgetting to water them?
The Bromeliad might just be what you need!
In an episode of "Unang Hirit," plantito Tolits Nuñal said that this plant is low-maintenance.
"Hindi sila ganoon ka-alagahin. Pwedeng indoor, pwedeng outdoor," he said.
Bromeliads bloom in tropical places like the Philippines. It has around 3,000 species, most of which can be found in the country.
Nuñal said Bromeliads grow on coconut husk soil, and easy on the fertilizer! If you put too much fertilizer, its colors would get duller.
The best part?
"Hindi siya kailangan diligan araw-araw," Nuñal said, adding that watering it twice or thrice a week was enough.
Bromeliads are sold for P250 to P450, depending on the size. —JCB, GMA News
