Sharkboy and Lavagirl are parents in new Netflix film 'We Can Be Heroes'

Remember Sharkboy and Lavagirl?

Well, they're going to be parents in a new family-friendly superhero movie coming to Netflix this New Year.

According to the streaming giant, "We Can Be Heroes" is going to be about children of superheroes who team up to save their parents and the world.

Netflix has also eye-popping images that gives us a first look at the cast and characters.

Taylor Dooley, who played Lavagirl in the 2005 movie "Sharkboy and Lavagirl," will be returning as an adult version of the superhero.

Sharkboy, who was played by Taylor Lautner in the original, will be played by JJ Dashnaw.

The cast also includes Priyanka Chopra as Ms. Granada, Boyd Holbrook as Miracle Man, Pedro Pascal as Marcus Moreno, Christian Slater as Tech-No and "Bird Box" star Vivien Blair as Guppy.
