How to turn old keepsakes into everlasting resin crafts

Do you want to preserve a some flowers given to you by a special someone? How about some frail, old pictures that need some protecting?

Fear not: You can make small yet keepsakes last forever by turning them into beautiful resin crafts.

You can also make some extra “pamasko” this December by watching a tutorial on how to create your own glass-like trinkets at home.

GMA News’ “Unang Hirit” featured different kinds of items you can make, from flower-filled coasters to trendy necklaces and bag charms.

Online sellers Maria Victoria and Maria Camille Parcon also did a quick demonstration on how to make the resin solution.

For this, they used a two-step mixture, along with a mold, a plastic cub, decoration, a mixing stick, and a digital weighing scale.

Viewers were also reminded to wear the proper protective gear when handling chemicals, such as gloves and a facemask.
