'Black Mirror' creator is making a 'mockumentary' about 2020 -reports

Who else could be trusted to make a television feature about 2020 if not Charlie Brooker?

The "Black Mirror" creator is supposedly creating a "mockumentary" for Netflix, according to Deadline.

Hugh Grant had apparently let slip the news while talking about "The Undoing" with New York magazine, and said that he’s playing a "repellent" historian with a wig in the show.

Back in May, Brooker had said that he wasn't working on a sixth season for hit show "Black Mirror." He said he was unsure if people could "stomach" another dystopian story at the moment, what with the world at standstill as it faces the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

He added that he has since been "busy doing things," such as comical scripts.

"Black Mirror" is Brooker's Emmy-winning series that portrays multiple facets of society falling apart that premiered on Netflix.

Its fifth season was released in June 2019, consisting of three episodes starring Anthony Mackie and Miley Cyrus, among others. —JCB, GMA News
