'5 Centimeters per Second,' other Makoto Shinkai films now on Netflix

More Makoto Shinkai films have arrived on Netflix.

"5 Centimeters per Second" is among those now available for viewing on the streaming platform, following the release of phenomenal anime films "Your Name" and "Weathering With You."

"Garden of Words," "Children who Chase Lost Voices," and "The Place Promised in Our Early Days" also made it to Netflix's catalog.

Back in July, Netflix released Shinkai's "Your Name" (2016), which is currently the highest-grossing anime film worldwide. Premiering on the streaming app shortly after was "Weathering With You" (2019), which was Japan's #1 Anime Movie last year. —JCB, GMA News
