Aiko Melendez receives Silver Play Button from YouTube!

Aiko Melendez isn’t just an outstanding actress—she’s now also a certified vlogger!

In November, the “Prima Donnas” star received a Silver Play Button from YouTube.

“Naka-discover pa ako ng pwede ko pa gawin at mag-exert ng effort na maging mabuti ako sa bagay na ’yun,” she said on Cata Tibayan’s “24 Oras” report Thursday.

The Silver Play Button is given to content creators who’ve managed to gain over 100,000 subscribers. As of writing, Aiko has over 451,000 subscribers.

Apart from working on her vlogs, Aiko said she’d also been working on staying healthy and fit.

“Will mo talaga na may gusto ko talaga, there’s no excuses kasi I’ve been used to ’pag magpapayat ako, ‘’di bukas na lang.’ This pandemic talaga I have to do something sa sarili ko,” she said.

“A few months before my birthday I wanted to do something different in taking care of myself, loving myself more,” the actress added.

Aiko shared that aside from her character on “Prima Donnas,” she’s also set to play a role in an upcoming project. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
