Finn Wolfhard shares sneak-peek at new 'Ghostbusters' film
Another “Ghostbusters” film is officially in the works, and it stars Finn Wolfhard from “Stranger Things.”
The Canadian actor and musician just shared a first look at his new character on Instagram, and he's all decked out in the iconic ghost hunters’ jumpsuit uniform.
“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” is set to be released this summer, over 30 years since “Ghostbusters II” hit the big screen.
The film, which stars Finn Wolfhard, Paul Rudd and Mckenna Grace, is a follow-up to the events of the two original “Ghostbusters” films which came out 1984 and 1989.
The story picks up in rural Oklahoma with Wolfhard and Grace playing a pair of kids who stumble upon the original Ghostbusters’ tech.
“A journey that started 3 years ago or maybe 35 years ago is complete,"director Jason Reitman said.
As the beloved 80s classic returns for another run, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts are reported to reprise their roles. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
