Nobita and Shizuka get married in 'Stand By Me Doraemon 2'

Nobita and Shizuka from the classic anime "Doraemon" are finally getting married!

According to a Facebook post by CinemaBravo, the "Stand By 2 Doraemon 2" film is finally coming to Philippine cinemas this year.

The trailer shows Nobita and Doraemon traveling to the future, and they come to a time when Nobita and his friends are already adults.

Nobita is about to get married to Shizuka, but he suddenly develops pre-wedding jitters and disappears right before the ceremony!

Young Nobita and Doraemon must find the adult Nobita and ease his fears so he and Shizuka can tie the knot.

The film marks the 50th anniversary of the Doraemon franchise, which began as a manga in 1970.

There is no word yet on the exact release date of the film in the Philippines, but it will also be shown in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Indonesia.

The film was first released in Japan in November 2020.
