Kinaray-a, Rinconada, Masbateño writers, illustrators needed for children’s books

Are you a writer or illustrator fluent in Kinaray-a, Rinconada, or Masbateño? This is for you.

A workshop is looking for Kinaray-a, Rinconada, and Masbateño writers and illustrators who can create beautiful and engaging children’s books in the said languages.

BookLab, a writing and illustration workshop, is looking for applicants who can work together to create books for children.

According to BookLab, the conceptualized children’s books will be printed and distributed to Kinaray-a, Rinconada, and Masbateño schools, and made available online at the Let’s Read digital library.

Organized by the ABC+: Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines project, a partnership between the Department of Education and US Agency for International Development, BookLab will be held in the first quarter of 2021.
