Taylor Swift records new version of ‘Fearless’ album; ‘Love Story’ to drop in a few hours

Taylor Swift will release a new version of her “Fearless” album, which will feature 26 tracks, including a rerecorded “Love Story” which will be out in a few hours.

The American singer made the announcement on social media Thursday evening.

“I’m thrilled to tell you that my new version of Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is done and will be with you soon. It has 26 songs including 6 never before released songs from the vault,” she wrote.

“Love Story (Taylor’s Version) will be out tonight,” she added with yellow hearts.

The release date of “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” is yet to be confirmed, but fans have noted that the seemingly random capitalized letters in the note spelled out “April Ninth.”

In her message, the singer also expressed her feelings about the upcoming album.

“I’ve spoken a lot about why I’m remaking my first six albums, but the way I’ve chosen to do this will hopefully help illuminate where I’m coming from,” said Taylor.

“Artists should own their work for so many reasons, but the most screamingly obvious one is that the artist is the only one who really *knows* that body of work,” she added.

Taylor said she wanted her fans to see the “whole vivid picture” behind the album, including the songs that were “held back for different reasons.”

“This process has been more fulfilling and emotional than I could’ve imagined and has made me even more determined to re-record all of my music,” she said.

A critical and commercial success, “Fearless,” Taylor’s second album, was Grammy’s Album of the Year in 2008.

It features her hit singles “Love Story,” “You Belong with Me,” “White Horse,” “Fifteen,” and the album title track.
