Kim Seon Ho to hold Filipino fan meet on March 21

Good news for #TeamGoodBoy!

Kim Seon Ho, the breakout star of the hit K-drama “Start-Up” is holding a virtual fan meet for his Filipino supporters on March 21.

The South Korean actor and newest Globe endorser made the announcement in a video posted on February 13, where Kim unboxes Valentine’s gifts of local snacks like chips and chicharon from Pinoy fans.

“Kita tayo sa March 21,” Kim says in the video. He adds that he has been to Cebu and really enjoyed the food. “I really want to go [back to the Philippines] and eat delicious food, and enjoy sightseeing.”

Kim’s role as Han Ji Pyeong on “Start-Up” won over the hearts of many fans, in what is considered one of the biggest cases of SLS or “Second Lead Syndrome,” where viewers of a drama root more for the foil in a love triangle than the main lead.

He is also known for being a host on the variety show “2 Days and 1 Night” and for other dramas such as “Welcome to Waikiki 2” and “100 Days My Prince.”

Kim thanks his Filipino fans in his Valentine’s message. “You guys supported me even from far away and I am really touched in every moment,” he says. “I hope and pray that one day we would soon be able to meet each other face to face once the situation gets better.” — LA, GMA News
