1. The Ministry of Education (MOE) Scholarship. This grants a 4-year scholarship for undergraduate studies, a 2-year scholarship for Masterals and a grant of up to 4 years for a Doctoral Degree.
According to the website, the MOE will cover up to 40,000 NTD for each semester, with the remaining costs to be shouldered by the scholarship recipient.
The application is open up to April 30, 2021. Check it out here.
2. Huayu (Mandrain) Enrichment Scholarship. The grant assures a monthly stipend of 25,000NTD to cover all expenses, and allows applicants to choose either intensive Mandarin courses (from 2 to 3 months) or up to 12 months of Mandarin courses, with the approval of TECO.
The application is open up to March 31, 2021. Check it out here.
3. The International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) will cover the full tuition fee, living expenses, airfare (economy class) and textbook costs. Pursuing your Masters will give you a monthly stipend of 15,000NTD while those pursuing Doctoral degrees will get 17,000NTD.
The application is open up to March 15, 2021. Check it out here.
You can only choose and apply to one scholarship program and must first put in order their admission to their preferred university in Taiwan.
Of course, necessary scholarship requirements must be complied with and submitted to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines for review and recommendation.
