'Stranger Things 4' is the darkest season yet, says Finn Wolfhard
Wondering what's in store for "Stranger Things" Season 4?
Actor Finn Wolfhard warned that it's the "darkest season there's ever been."
Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler in the hit show, made the comment in an episode of the podcast "q with Tom Power."
"Every season it gets darker," he said. "Really, I will say with Season 3 I was like, this is the darkest season that there’ll ever be, like the exploding rats and everything. But really, Season 4 so far, it’s the darkest season there’s ever been."
"Every year, it gets amped up. Every year it gets funnier and darker and sadder, and everything. Every year, they amp it up," he added.
"Stranger Things" Season 4 began filming last October.
Created by the Duffer brothers, the show follows a gang of misfits, including superpowered Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), as they try to fend off monsters from the alternate dimension called the Upside Down.
The series premiered on Netflix in 2016. The streaming giant has yet to announce the premiere date for Season 4.
The third season was released in July 2019. —JCB, GMA News
